Mere Day Nursery is one of our family-run group of six nurseries and has already become somewhere very special for young children. Our team believe in relationships first and foremost and from the moment you arrive to visit until the day comes for you to leave your child in our care and every day after that, you will experience first hand the care, security, trust and warmth that is central to our culture and ethos.
The indoor space at nursery has been lovingly restored and refurbished to provide an exceptional early childhood environment that reflects just how young children play and learn and with the nursery set in acres of beautiful leafy surroundings and wooded area, we make sure children enjoy the best of outdoor play that is rich in experience for all ages.
The nursery sits on one of the busiest commuter routes in Cheshire. It is perfectly located for parents living locally or travelling to or from Manchester via the A556 or to Warrington via the A50.
Book a VisitMy son loves it at the Mere. He waves goodbye to us and keeps on playing when we come to collect him. The food is all home-made and looks fabulous and the staff are so friendly.
They have a great size outdoor area which is used often. The staff look after the children as if they are their own, they are so caring. My son gives them all lots of cuddles.
My little boy loves the Mere nursery. He chats about what he's done every day and has strong relationships with the staff who are all very caring. The building developments are great and the outdoor space is lovely.
Our team make nursery a wonderfully inviting and exciting place to be. Understanding this unique phase of your child’s early years means they are there to support you through each stage of parenting.
The nursery environment plays a vital part in children’s well-being. We believe that children should feel a sense of belonging at nursery and so everything about the rooms, resources and furniture we use is designed to encourage independence and foster childrens’ self confidence. In keeping with our overall philosophy and approach to early years teaching, the environment too is influenced by a range of early years approaches, including Steiner, Montessori, High Scope and Reggio.
One of the first things you will notice is that nursery looks inviting and enticing to not only children, but adults too! Provocations for learning and play are everywhere to be seen and child sized furniture and resources tell children that this is a space for them. Somewhere to play, imagine, create, experiment and be together.
